DesignService

A premium font library, included with an Adobe subscription, for brands that want distinctive lettering.

Adobe Fonts is a library of more than 30,000 fonts that comes with an Adobe subscription at no extra charge. The fonts work in Adobe’s design apps and can also be used on websites and in PDFs, with licensing for both personal and commercial work.

It appeals to brands that want lettering you won’t see on every other site. The catalog includes professionally drawn typefaces from established type designers, and a logo, brochure and website can all use the same font without buying separate licenses.

On websites, Adobe hosts the font files and the site loads them from Adobe. Adobe’s terms don’t include self-hosting, so those files can’t be moved onto your own server. That’s the main trade-off compared with free libraries. For a business already paying for Adobe, it’s a convenient way to keep print and web typography consistent.
