The USS Turner Joy launched in 1957 and served honorably until her decommission in 1982. This distinguished destroyer and her crews served the United States Navy with distinction in both war and peace, earning nine battle stars for her Vietnam Service. Today, the USS Turner Joy serves as a museum ship in Bremerton, Washington, preserving an important piece of naval history for future generations.
The USS Turner Joy Reunion Group brings together the brave sailors who served aboard this historic vessel, keeping their bonds of service alive and preserving their incredible stories. These veterans served together at sea, fought for survival in combat, and cared for each other through extraordinarily difficult times. Their experiences represent an irreplaceable piece of American military history that deserves to be honored and remembered. When we were approached about helping their organization, we felt genuinely honored to play a role in preserving their legacy and supporting their mission.
