What is Meta Box?
Meta Box, in plain English.
Meta Box is a WordPress plugin and framework for custom fields. It lets a site hold more than pages and posts: properties, clients, services, events, anything with its own details. Each kind of entry gets labelled fields in the editor, so your team enters information the same way every time.
The developers behind it started it in 2010, and today it covers custom post types, settings pages, relationships between entries (an agent linked to their listings, say) and even separate database tables for large amounts of data. A free Lite version exists, and paid bundles add more tools.
Meta Box keeps your information in standard WordPress storage, so it stays portable and works with page builders like Bricks. For a business, that means a site shaped around your data, kept organised as it grows.

Why we use Meta Box.
Meta Box is our current choice for custom content on WordPress. It handles everything from simple fields to linked records with one consistent toolkit, and it pairs cleanly with Bricks. We used it to build the content structure behind Nevada Estate Property.
Built Around Your Data
Listings, clients, services or events each get their own organised home.
Linked Records
Connect entries, like an agent and their listings, so pages stay in sync automatically.
Room to Scale
It handles large amounts of data without slowing down the rest of your site.
