What is Web Application?
Also called: web app
A web application is software you use in a browser, like a booking system, customer portal or dashboard, not a simple page that only displays information.
A web application, or web app, is software that runs through a browser. Unlike a brochure website that mostly displays information, a web app lets users do things: log in, enter data, run calculations, manage records, upload files or place orders.
Examples include client portals, quoting tools, scheduling systems, inventory trackers and internal dashboards. Because they run in a browser, there is nothing to install, they work on any device and updates reach everyone at once.
Web apps need more than a nice design, because they hold real business data and real customer information. They need secure logins, careful permissions, a database, backups and a plan for growth. We build web applications for businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and generic tools, starting with the process that matters most.
Example
Your team logs in from a tablet at a job site to update job status, and the office sees it instantly.
