AnalyticsWP is a WordPress plugin that tracks visitors and shows the reports right inside your WordPress dashboard. There is no separate login and no outside service to manage. It is made by Solid Plugins.
The plugin shows current visitors, page views, top pages and where traffic comes from. It can also follow a visitor's journey across pages, and it works with WooCommerce stores and many form and builder plugins, so you can see which sources lead to orders and enquiries. Its site says visitor data stays on your own site and is not shared with outside servers.
It suits owners who want to check on their site without opening Google Analytics. The tradeoff is scope: it covers your WordPress site only. Because the data lives on your own hosting, you control it, but that hosting also does the work.
