What is HappyFiles?
HappyFiles, in plain English.
HappyFiles is a WordPress plugin that adds folders to the media library, the place where all your images, PDFs and videos are stored. Out of the box, WordPress keeps every upload in one long list. HappyFiles lets you sort them into folders and sub-folders by dragging and dropping.
It also works on pages, posts, custom post types and WooCommerce items, so a site with hundreds of listings or products stays manageable. You can upload straight into a chosen folder, build galleries from a folder, and import folders from other media folder plugins. It is made by developer Thomas Ehrig and includes a gallery element for Bricks.
Your files keep their original web addresses, because folders only change how things are organized in the admin. The result is faster work for your team and fewer lost files.

Why we use HappyFiles.
HappyFiles goes on our WordPress sites because a tidy media library saves your team time long after launch. We set up folders that match how you work, such as one per property, service or campaign, so staff can find the right image quickly.
Find Files Fast
Folders replace the endless scroll through every image you ever uploaded.
Safe for Live Sites
Moving files into folders never changes their web addresses.
Works Beyond Images
Organize pages, posts and products too, not only media.
