What is MonSpark?
MonSpark, in plain English.
MonSpark is a monitoring service that watches your website around the clock and tells you when something is wrong. Uptime monitoring simply means it checks regularly that your site is up and answering, the way a night watchman checks the doors.
Beyond up or down, MonSpark's site lists checks for SSL certificates (the padlock that shows a site is secure), domain names, DNS settings and page speed through Lighthouse. It can also watch a server's processor, memory and disk. Alerts go out by email, Slack and other channels, and you can publish a status page on your own domain.
For a business, this means a broken page or an expired certificate gets caught quickly, not when a customer calls. It does not prevent outages, but it shortens them. MonSpark is made by Peyk Inc.

Why we use MonSpark.
MonSpark watches many of our client sites, so we hear about trouble before clients do. We use it to track uptime, certificate expiry and speed, and to spot slowdowns early.
Know First
You hear about downtime from an alert, not from an unhappy customer.
Expiry Warnings
Certificate checks catch the padlock problems that scare visitors away.
Speed Watching
Regular speed checks show when a site starts to slow down.
