What is Pinegrow?
Pinegrow, in plain English.
Pinegrow is a visual website editor that runs on your own computer, on Mac, Windows or Linux. You design pages on screen, and behind the scenes it edits ordinary website files, the same ones a developer would write by hand.
Because it works with plain files, Pinegrow is used for several jobs: simple static sites, sites built with popular styling frameworks like Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap, and custom WordPress themes, plugins and blocks through its WordPress tools. The files are yours, so you are not tied to the app.
It can be bought as a one-time license that includes a year of updates, or as a subscription. Unlike Bricks or Webflow, Pinegrow does not host anything or sit inside your site. It is a workbench for developers, and it is not a tool your own team would use for everyday edits.

Why we use Pinegrow.
We keep Pinegrow in our toolbox as a way to prototype layouts and work on real files visually. We like that nothing proprietary ends up inside the finished site, so the code stays clean and yours.
Your Files, Your Site
The work is plain website files, so nothing ties you to the tool.
Fast Prototyping
See a layout take shape on screen before it goes into a live site.
Works Across Platforms
One editor suits static sites, framework-based builds and WordPress themes.
