What is Postmark?
Postmark, in plain English.
Postmark is an email delivery service. A website often needs to send email on its own: a notice when someone fills out a contact form, a confirmation after an enquiry, a password reset. Sent the ordinary way from a web server, those messages are easily marked as spam or never arrive.
Postmark specializes in these automatic, transactional emails. It sends them through infrastructure built for delivery, and keeps promotional mail on a separate track so marketing sends cannot harm the reputation of the important ones. You can also see what was sent and track whether it was opened.
On a WordPress site, Postmark connects through a mail plugin, so nothing about how you edit your site changes. The practical result is that a lead who contacts your business actually reaches you, and a customer waiting on a confirmation actually gets it. For a business that lives on enquiries, that is worth a great deal.

Why we use Postmark.
We use Postmark on the Nevada Estate Property WordPress site, connected through FluentSMTP, so form enquiries and site emails are delivered reliably instead of landing in spam. It is a good fit when a site's email matters and you want a clear record of what was sent.
Enquiries Arrive
Form notifications reach your inbox instead of the spam folder.
Clear Sending Record
You can check what was sent and whether it was opened.
Protects Your Reputation
Marketing mail is kept apart from important messages.
