What is Resend?
Resend, in plain English.
Resend is an email delivery service for developers. It sends the automatic emails an application triggers on its own: a welcome message after sign-up, a notice that a payment failed, a confirmation that a subscription has ended. These are called transactional emails, and people are usually waiting for them.
Getting these messages into the inbox rather than the spam folder takes real care. Resend has you verify your own domain, so the emails prove they come from you. A dashboard then shows exactly what was sent and whether it arrived, and Resend also supports broadcasts to a contact list when you want to send to many people.
Email templates can be built as part of the application's code, so they are reviewed and updated like everything else. That keeps every message consistent with your brand and easy for us to change when your wording does.
