What is The SEO Framework?
The SEO Framework, in plain English.
The SEO Framework is a WordPress SEO plugin that fills in your page titles, descriptions, social tags and sitemap for you, so Google can find and understand your pages. It reads your WordPress setup and picks sensible defaults, so there is little to configure.
The plugin itself is free, with no premium version. Extra features such as local business details come as separate extensions, some free and some paid. Its makers state it has no ads, no branding and no tracking, and it shows a small color coded bar beside each page to flag problems at a glance.
Its difference is focus. It leaves out focus keyword scoring and extras, which keeps it fast and uncluttered. It suits teams who value speed over a long feature list.
