What is Vultr?
Vultr, in plain English.
Vultr is a cloud hosting company. You rent a virtual private server, or VPS: your own private slice of a larger machine, separate from other customers. You choose where in the world it runs, which helps when your visitors are spread out.
It sits alongside DigitalOcean, Hetzner and Linode as a provider where you get a server and manage it yourself, or have an agency manage it for you. Its pitch is a wide choice of locations and flexible plans.
For a business, the practical question is where your customers are. A server in the same region as your visitors loads faster. Pair it with a CDN such as Cloudflare and distance matters even less.

Why we use Vultr.
We have used Vultr on a few client projects, usually with Cloudflare in front. It is a good fit when a client's audience is in a particular region and we want the server close to them. As with any VPS, we handle the setup and upkeep.
Pick Your Location
Run your site in the region closest to your customers.
Flexible Plans
Start small and move up as traffic grows.
Own Resources
Your site is not squeezed in alongside hundreds of others.
