What is Webflow?
Webflow, in plain English.
Webflow is a website platform that bundles design, content management and hosting in one place. You build pages on a visual canvas in your browser, manage content like blog posts and case studies, and publish to Webflow's own hosting. There is nothing to install or keep updated yourself.
It was founded in 2013 and is used by marketing teams and design-led businesses that want to move quickly. It handles layouts, animations, multiple languages and online content, and it manages security and uptime for you.
The trade-off is that Webflow is a subscription service. Your site lives on its platform, and plans are paid monthly. That is simpler than running your own WordPress site, but you have less control than with open source tools. It is a strong fit for brochure-style marketing sites, and less so for custom applications.

Why we use Webflow.
We recommend Webflow when a marketing team wants to design and publish pages itself, and a hosted service suits the budget better than a custom build. For sites that need to grow into custom features, we lean on WordPress, and we'll tell you which fits.
Everything in One Place
Design, content and hosting come together, so there are fewer moving parts to manage.
No Maintenance
Webflow handles hosting, security and updates behind the scenes.
Design Freedom
Layouts and animations are built visually, without being locked into templates.
