What is SEO?
Also called: Search Engine Optimization
SEO is the work of improving your website so it appears higher in search results like Google, bringing more of the right people to your business.
Search engine optimization, or SEO, is the practice of making your site easier for search engines to find, understand and trust, and more useful to the people searching. The goal is to appear prominently when customers look for what you sell.
It has several parts. Technical SEO ensures the site can be crawled and loads quickly. On-page SEO shapes content around what people search. Off-page SEO builds credibility through links and mentions. Local SEO helps you appear in your area. All of them depend on genuinely helpful content.
SEO takes time, and no one can honestly promise a specific ranking, because search engines do not publish all their rules and keep changing them. What a good program does is steadily improve your visibility and lead flow. We start with an audit, then focus on the pages and searches that matter to revenue.
Example
A Reno accountant's site starts appearing for 'small business tax help Reno' and brings in new inquiries every week.
