What is Adobe Illustrator?
Adobe Illustrator, in plain English.
Adobe Illustrator is a program for drawing vector graphics. Vector means the artwork is built from lines and shapes, not pixels, so it never goes blurry when it's enlarged. That is why logos, icons and illustrations are almost always created this way.
Designers use Illustrator to build logos and brand identities, redraw a client's old artwork cleanly, and produce icons and diagrams. Files can be exported in the formats a website needs, including SVG, a lightweight image type that stays crisp on every screen and loads quickly.
Illustrator is sold by Adobe as a subscription, not as a one-time purchase. It's a design tool, not part of your website. You'll never log into it, but the logo and graphics it produces will appear on your pages, your documents and your social profiles.

Why we use Adobe Illustrator.
We reach for Illustrator when a client's logo needs to be redrawn, cleaned up or supplied in several formats, and when a site needs custom icons or illustrations. It's the common format that other designers and print shops expect.
Logos That Stay Crisp
Artwork looks sharp on a business card, a phone or a banner.
Web-Ready Graphics
Icons and illustrations export as light files that load quickly.
A Format Others Accept
Print shops and designers can work with the files we hand over.
