What is GoDaddy?
GoDaddy, in plain English.
GoDaddy is one of the best-known names for registering domain names, the web addresses people type to find you. It also sells web hosting, email, a website builder and online store tools, all under one account.
Its appeal is convenience: a business can buy a name, get a simple site and set up email in one place. Many owners first meet GoDaddy when they buy their domain, and plenty never leave.
The catch is that a bundle built for beginners can feel limiting as a site grows. Speed, flexibility and moving the site elsewhere are common reasons people outgrow it. That is fine, and your domain can stay put while the website moves.
