The usual setup is that your site lives on a server alongside other customers' sites, and SiteGround looks after the technical side. Its main selling point is support, with live help available around the clock.
For a small business starting out, that is a comfortable arrangement. The trade-off is less control and less raw power than a private server, which can matter as traffic or custom features grow. Larger or more custom projects often outgrow it.
