What is RankMath?
RankMath, in plain English.
Rank Math is a WordPress SEO plugin that helps your pages get found on Google. It handles search titles and descriptions, sitemaps, redirects, and structured data, the hidden labels that tell Google a page is a product, a recipe or a local business.
It is popular with owners who want a lot included without paying. Its free version has modules for redirects, a 404 monitor and schema, plus a connection to Google Search Console so you can see how you perform. Paid Pro adds rank tracking and a more advanced schema builder.
That breadth is the main difference with RankMath. There is more to configure, and more to switch off if you only need the basics. It can import settings from Yoast and SEOPress, which makes switching straightforward.

We have shipped Rank Math on several client sites. We switch on only the modules you need so the dashboard stays simple. For new builds our default is SEOPress, but we are comfortable keeping Rank Math where a client already runs it.
