What is Retargeting?
Also called: remarketing
Retargeting shows ads to people who already visited your site, reminding them of you while they decide and bringing them back.
Retargeting, also called remarketing, is advertising aimed at people who have already interacted with your business, such as visiting your site, viewing a service page or starting a quote form. Ads follow them on platforms like Google, Facebook and Instagram.
It works because most visitors do not act on the first visit. They are comparing options or interrupted. A friendly reminder keeps you in mind and gives you a chance to make a stronger offer. These audiences are usually warmer than strangers, so results can be efficient.
It has to be done with care. Ads that follow people too long or too often feel creepy. Privacy laws and platform rules also require proper consent and disclosure. We set up retargeting with frequency limits and honest messaging, and exclude people who already became customers.
Example
Someone views your roofing page but does not call, then sees a reminder ad offering a free inspection later that week.
