What is A/B Testing?

Also called: split testing

A/B testing shows two versions of a page to different visitors to find out which one gets more calls, form fills or sales.

A/B testing means making two versions of the same page, changing one thing between them, and sending half your visitors to each. The change might be a headline, a button, a photo or the length of a form. You then compare which version got more of the action you care about.

The value is that you stop arguing about opinions and start learning from real customers. A headline you love may do worse than the plain one you almost used. Over time, small wins on your most important pages add up to more leads from the same traffic you already pay for.

A test only gives a trustworthy answer when enough people see each version, and when you change one thing at a time. Sites with very little traffic often get better results from improving the basics first. We help you decide which pages are worth testing and which are not.

Example
A roofing company tests a form headline that says 'Get a Free Estimate' against one that says 'Book Your Roof Inspection' and keeps whichever produces more submissions.
