USS Turner Joy Reunion Group
A new site that carries the ship's history and runs the reunion group.
The USS Turner Joy Reunion Group brings together sailors who served aboard the destroyer. We built a new site that manages the organization and preserves its stories.

The challenge
The group's old site held hundreds of historical images, videos and ship stories. A new design and better tools were needed without losing any of it.
Our approach
We migrated all of the content and built custom modules for ship stories, newsletters, articles, photo galleries and a shipmate directory. We also added a way to post the tax documents the organization is required to publish.
The outcome
The group has a site it can manage on its own, with drone footage and galleries that tell the story of life aboard the ship. We still help maintain it.
The design
Every page, in full.
Each page scrolls on its own. Hover to pause and look closer.

Started a very big project with Chris back in April. We just completed the project and I couldn't be more impressed with his skill, professionalism and patience.
